Where has the year gone? It’s hard to believe we are in our final month of 2024! So many people to thank … tutors, class assistants, committee members, office helpers and the many other members who help out when required across a range of areas.

How can you help in 2025?
As we are all volunteers the more we can ‘spread the load’, the more successful and engaging our U3A can be.
Committee Vacancies
We currently have 2 vacancies on Committee and would love to bring on board a couple of members who are creative, strategic thinkers who can help plan for the future development of our U3A (could be new members with fresh ideas or existing members who can identify new avenues to investigate)
General Assistance
Catering – We want to put together a small team of people to organise food/drinks and to assist at any special events we hold during the year.
Class Tutor – Memoir Writing
Quite a few members are keen to share life stories with family members. You don’t have to be a qualified English teacher to take this on, but an interest in this area and a willingness to lead a ‘self-
help’ group would be great!
If you would like to assist with any of the above roles, please make contact to discuss further.
On behalf of the U3A Casey Committee we would like to wish all members a very merry Christmas and we’ll look forward to seeing everyone return in 2025.
