U3A Casey hosted a Fun Music Afternoon for U3A members at the Fiddlers Green Retirement Village in Berwick, on Sunday 17 November.
The event, which ran from 1.30 to 4.00 pm, featured live music from The Old Dogs, a Melbourne-based rock and roll band, whose 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s music had most of the audience up, dancing, laughing and having fun for the whole afternoon.
A highlight of the event was a quick visit from Brad Battin MP, Member for Berwick.
He participated by dancing in the conga line, which was headed by U3A President Chris Trimnell, as well as spending some time chatting to audience members. “The Fun Music Afternoon was a great success, as shown at the end of the day by all the happy and smiling faces of members as they left the venue,” said Chris Trimnell, U3A Casey President
